Signal Steel Dog Training Whistle

Your voice changes when you are tired, cross or far away, but a whistle sounds the same every time. This dog training whistle gives your dog one steady cue for recall or other commands, and you can tune the pitch until you find the one your dog reacts to best.

How to use it

4. Move practice outside and add distance slowly.

Care

Rinse the mouthpiece with warm water now and then, shake it out and let it dry before closing the cover.

Good to know

Some settings are very high pitched, so you may hear only a faint sound while your dog hears it clearly. Do not blow it right next to your pet's ears.

Questions

Can I hear it? At lower settings, yes. At the highest settings it can sound very quiet to people.

Will it stop barking? It is a cue for training, not a bark deterrent. It works when your dog has learned what the sound means.

Does it work for cats? The supplier lists dogs and cats. Cats can learn a sound cue too, with patience and treats.
