How to pick a size: Measure the height of the sofa seat or bed your pet wants to reach. The 2 step set is about 30 cm high and suits low sofas. The 3 step set is about 35 cm high, with a longer, gentler slope for taller furniture and smaller pets.

What’s in the box

Unzip the cover and wash it by hand or on a gentle cycle, then air dry before fitting it back. Vacuum loose hair off the steps between washes.

How to use it

Unpack the stairs and leave them for 24 to 48 hours. They ship folded and compressed, and the creases ease out as they recover.
Push the stairs flush against the sofa or bed so there is no gap at the top.
Lure your pet up one step at a time with treats, and praise every step.
Practise a few times a day until they use the stairs on their own.
