Laundry Pet Hair Catcher Sponges

Fresh blankets out of the dryer, and the fur stays behind on the sponge. These pet hair catcher sponges go in the drum with your wash or in the dryer, and grab loose fur from clothes, blankets and bedding as they tumble.

Why it works

• Fewer hairs on your black pants. The textured sponge surface snags fur as the load turns, so it collects on the sponge instead of settling back on the fabric.

At home with it

Picture Sunday afternoon: the dog's blanket, your fleece and a pile of jeans tumble with two little black cat head sponges. When the dryer buzzes, you peel a gray felt of fur off each one and drop it in the trash. Then you pull out a warm blanket you can actually wrap yourself in, and the dog climbs straight back onto it.

Care

After each load, pull off the collected hair by hand and rinse the sponge under the faucet. Let it air dry before the next wash.

Good to know

They catch loose hair; they will not lift fur that is woven into a knit. For a very hairy load, use two or more sponges and shake the clothes out first. Clean them often, because a full sponge picks up less.

Questions

How many should I use per load? Two in a normal load is a good start. Add more for a big load of bedding or a heavy shedding week.

Can they go in the dryer? Yes. They are made to go in the washing machine or the dryer with your laundry.

Will they mark my clothes? They are a plain black sponge with no adhesive. As with any new item, try a first wash with darker clothes if you are unsure.

What if they do not suit my laundry? Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If they arrive broken or faulty, email us a photo within 30 days and we replace or refund them, no return needed.
